Getting Involved

Join Your PEERs in Getting Involved

Getting involved in this research study actively engages you in evaluating the health of your child. If your child enrolls in this study, you will be asked to return for at least 5 appointments over 3 months. During the study, your child will take medicine 2 times each day: after breakfast and before bedtime. These times should not interfere with school.

At each appointment, the following will occur:

  • A routine check-up, including height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate
  • Blood tests (1 tsp)

There is one visit that will cover a day. This visit involves a special test that measures the level of study medicine in the body.

Your child will also have a check-up at the final visit, and you will receive a phone call following this visit to check how your child is doing.
